If you have Staff Approvals enabled on your Eventree portal then when crew arrive on site you have the option to prevent their pass from being redeemed if they have not yet been Approved.
By default all staff checking in crew on site will be prevented from checking in someone's pass if they have not yet been approved. This looks like this screenshot below with a warning message in the red box.
There is now an option available for any senior staff to use if they wish to override this warning on an ad hoc basis.
This additional permission can be set per user on the entry system and is entirely optional.
It looks like this, and once you select 'Check them in anyway' it allows you to redeem that person's passes.
IMPORTANT
Using this function will NOT Approve them in Eventere, it simply bypasses the check on the entry system.
How do I grant access for specific users to use the override?
If you are logged in to the entry system (scanning portal) as an Admin user, go to Settings > Users.
On the Users page you will see a column name Approval/Induction Override.
Simply select the tick in that column to grant access to each user.
