There are two reports which collate meals data together based on each Group, the Meal sittings report and the Collated meals report. These can be found under the Meals menu.
Meal sittings report
On this report you can start off by choosing from two options: Canteen and Type.
Select whether you wish to see meals from All canteens or just one.
Under Type you can select either All meals, Specified meals, or Single use tokens.
On the left hand side you will see a breakdown of the different sections of your event:
Area, Sub area, Group.
Then the remaining columns are a breakdown of each meal sitting. This is divided by specified sitting, with a further breakdown of specified meals, redeemed, and not redeemed.
There is also a handy row which shows totals for each sitting too.
Collated meals report
This report has the same options as the Meal sittings report: first choose the Canteen and Type. On the left hand side also shows the sections of your event.
Then, we have a collated summary of All meals, with a row per Group.
This gives you a clear picture of how many meals were allocated, how many of those have been Specified and how many are therefore remaining.
It also shows a total of Redeemed and Not redeemed meals, as well as what % therefore was wasted per Group.
If you scroll further along the report you can then see totals per Meal Type, eg Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner.
For each Meal Type you can then see an overview of how many have been specified, redeemed, not used, and therefore how much wastage there is too.
