The standard site safety induction in Eventree consists of a block of content, and then a series of rotating multiple choice questions based on the content.
There is also the option to add data capture to the induction. This means as well as quizzing your crew on site safety rules, you can also gather a few details from them such as emergency contact, vehicle reg or travel data.
Here's how:
1.Enable data capture
Go to Event Settings > Core Settings and find Optional Features
If Enable inductions is selected, then Enable inductions data capture will also appear. Select that option by ticking the box.
2. Create your data capture form
Once you've enabled this feature, you will see a new menu option appear for Inductions data capture.
Select 'Create inductions form'
3.Add your questions
The data capture form builder will be familiar if you have created forms elsewhere in Eventree. Simply drag and drop fields from the menu on the right and drop them into your form.
Once you are ready, hit Save.
4. Link the data capture form to your induction
Once you have finished setting up your form, hit save and then navigate back to Manage inductions.
Select the dropdown by Edit on your induction, and select Data capture.
Then select the data capture form you wish to link to that induction and hit Choose. It's as simple as that!
How does it look when someone completes the induction?
The induction process is the same as it is without data capture. The induction is linked to specific pass types and when someone receives a pass, they click through the pass button to complete the induction before downloading their QR code.
If data capture is enabled, they will see the data capture questions first.
Once they hit submit form, they'll be taken to the site safety induction.
Then once the induction content has been digested, they can answer the multiple choice questions and then Download their QR code, ready to head to site.
