We now offer Stripe integration for taking payments through Eventree.

This payment integration applies to paid-for passes.

It's very easy to set up, simply follow these steps below.

Connect your Stripe account

Firstly on your event portal, head to Event Settings > Payments

On this page, hit Connect.

This will redirect you to Stripe.

You will then need to create or link your Stripe account with Eventree.

If you already have a Stripe account, you can use the same email as that account and you will be able to copy across your details from that existing account.

Alternatively you can create a new account with an email not yet linked to Stripe.

The Stripe sign up process is comprehensive so you may need to have a few details to hand, such as:

Companies house registration number

VAT number

Registered business address

Once you have successfully completed your Stripe profile, you can then return to Eventree and set up your paid-for passes.

A note about linking your Stripe account

When you first arrive at the Payments page, it will look like this with a Connect button.

If you leave the Stripe setup process part way, the message on the Payments page will update to 'Complete Setup'.

Once you have successfully linked Stripe with Eventree, the Payments page will look like this, with the button called Dashboard.

Fees

Fees are within the charged price and will be deducted from the amount paid out to the event. Eventree applies a 50p fee per pass and 30p per form in addition to whichever fee is charged by Stripe.

Please note that Stripe fees vary. The majority of fees for UK events the rate will be the standard rate, however a small number of passes may be charged the higher rates. This will vary depending on your pass purchasers.

The most common rates for UK events:

1.5% + 20p for standard UK cards

1.9% + 20p for premium UK cards

2.5% + 20p for EU Cards
