Meals Scanning: Quick Fire Troubleshooting Guide
If someone’s meal won’t scan, try these points below.
Have they definitely been assigned a meal for this sitting?
If not, when you scan them the message “This individual has not been allocated this meal” will show - click ‘show entitlement’ to see what they have been assigned.
Are they using a wristband to redeem meals?
If so, try their crew QR code or meals passcode instead as the wristband may not be associated yet.
Are they using their QR code to redeem meals?
It may have been deleted or reissued, try their meals passcode instead.
Were their meals recently assigned?
If so, give it a few more minutes. Meals assigned in ‘list view’ will reach the canteen fastest.
Is the Canteen laptop connected to the internet?
If not, connect it and give it some time to catch up with new meals data.
