Once you’ve set up your meals module and it’s ready to go, the next step is to start distributing meals out to your crew. The first step is to distribute meals to the areas, sub-areas and groups in your event that will require crew meals. Once distributed they can then be allocated to specific individuals or allocated as single use tokens. Meals can either be allocated by event admins, or by other Managers in your event, right down to Group leader level if you wish.
Distributing meals to Areas
Ok so now let’s look at distributing meals to certain sections or Areas.
Click on Areas and select a section. For example, Production or Core Crew
Now click the edit button on the left hand side next to the section’s name
Scroll down, and as you can see, we can now assign a quantity of meals this Area can have. If you have more than one canteen, you can allocate meals from either, or both canteens.
It can be hard to determine precisely how many meals you may need at this point. Just remember that you can amend it at any time, and the number of meals allocated for each sitting is always capped at what number you have set in Canteen Limits.
Once you’ve done that, click Update. As you can see the number of meals assigned to this Area has just appeared on the summary page under the Meals column.
Just repeat this process with each Area.
Once you have distributed meals to each section - this Meals summary box will appear.
