Right, so you've got to the point where form submissions are flooding in and you need to start sorting through them. You have a few options here - yes, no, maybe and approve. So, what's the difference?

If you set a submitted form to Yes, No, or Maybe they will remain only in the Applications section. But when you Approve a form, this action creates an individual (or Group) in Eventree. When a form is approved you then have the choice between viewing the form in Applications-approved or in the section that the individual was approved into.

  • If you click on Yes, you’re simply saying you’re 90% sure in thinking this applicant should be at your event. They’ve uploaded all the right documentation, they've answered all your questions. They look good. But you just want to double check a few things first.

  • If you Click on Maybe-you’re not sure. Perhaps the food trader doesn’t quite fit in with your event. There’s a 50/50 chance they might be ok but you need more convincing.

  • If you click on No-then this applicant is totally unsuitable for your event.

  • If you click on Approve then you are happy to add them into your event as an individual (or Group) you can then choose to assign them passes at that point, or later.

What else should I consider?

Something else to consider is that if you select 'No' or 'Approve' you have the option to notify them about this status change.

See the How to send form notifications on Approved / No article for more information.
