There may be times when you want to either add a header, logo, banner image or perhaps even a custom button to an email template.
Firstly, upload your image to eventree. You can do this in event settings > uploads.
For more detailed instructions see here.
To add an image to a template, in the email template editor, click on the image icon (the little square with a mountain scene in it).
This will open a pop up window where you need to add the url of your image. When you upload an image, eventree gives you a url, use this one and add it in this box.
Once you add the URL you will see a preview. You will also see the dimensions - you may want to resize your image. Make sure the 'lock' icon is selected if you want to change your image size but lock its proportions.
Eg This one was changed to 250 width, with the padlock selected ensuring it didn't stretch out of proportion.
Click OK and your image will be added.
If this were just going to be a header image for example, then you're done!
We are going to make this into a replacement button for the default Access Eventree button.
The default Access eventree button has a link behind it which allows users to login.
To find this link, double click on the original button. Then navigate to the Link tab on that window. Copy the URL. Then double click on the new button image, go to Link, and paste the url in there '{PASSWORD_SETUP_LINK}'.
You can now delete the old button!
Voila! You have a shiny new button in your email template.
