Once you have setup your form using this range of help articles you may want to test it before it gets put live for crew to complete.

It is always wise to check through the form from the front-end, as if you are completing it.

Things to check for:

  • Mandatory Questions - is it possible for everybody completing the form to provide the information in the mandatory questions? For example, if you are asking everyone for a Gas Safety Certificate as a mandatory field, is it possible some people won't be using Gas.

Instead, use a Conditional. That way, the upload is mandatory, but only if they select Yes.

  • Radio group vs Check box - A common mistake is to use a check box field when it should be a radio group. A Radio group should be used when you only want ONE option to be selected. Checkbox allows multiple options.

  • Upload Categories - make sure you use upload categories when using the file upload field. This will make it far easier to manage the document.
