A Sub-area is exactly the same as an Area but allows for more options e.g. at a large event, you might have one Area Traders, but then you may want to have sub-areas of Food Traders, and Non-Food Traders. A Sub-area manager can only see everything within that sub-area and below, eg Groups and Individuals.
