There are a few bits of Terminology used to describe the different statuses that a pass can have.

Distribute. This is the process of giving pases, meals or budgets to a section, either Area, Sub-Area or Group. As you distribute passes around the system, so the number of passes available at event level will decrease.

Allocate. This is the final part of the process when a pass is given to an individual. At this point, a code is generated within the system and the person can then be found.

Send: This is when someone is emailed their downloadable pass, until they have the pass they won't be able to scan it on-site.

Redeem: This is when a pass gets scanned on-site, once it is scanned, it has been redeemed.

Warning: A Pass is not generated until it has been Allocated to an individual. Distributing 10 pass to a group does not mean that anyone in that group has a pass and no one in the group will be searchable on the system until their passes have been Allocated. In order for someone to Redeem a pass, their pass needs to be both Allocated, and Sent to them.

So here, there are passes allocated to the group but they need to be handed out to each person.

And here, they have been allocated, but not sent, so unless the Group Leader has downloaded PDFs of the tickets and emailed them out to each person, they will not have received them.
