There are 3 key ways to take volunteer deposit payments through Eventree.
Take payment upon submission of their application. This can either be a set amount, or an amount based on the answers to certain questions with amounts attached. Then when the applicant clicks ‘submit’ it redirects to Paypal, and the form isn’t submitted into the Eventree system until the payment is made. Help article here.
Allocate them a paid-for-pass, once you have approved them into Eventree. Help article on this here.
Approve initial submitted form, then send supplementary form (with payment setup in the form settings as per point 1 above) as a request of payment.

How do I return the deposits?
If using a form, option 1 or 3, then it depends which payment details are linked to the form. You can either link the Eventree Paypal account, and we can process the refunds for you OR you can use your own paypal account and process them yourself (either way, less any non-refundable paypal fees).
For option 2, paid-for passes, these currently are paid through our payment system, so once you let us know which of your team need refunding, we can do that (less a non-refundable booking fee).
