If you need to send an email to everyone in an Area at once, here's two options.
Advanced Search
In your Area, go to Search > Advance
This will take you to the Advanced Search page where you have the option to filter by who you are sending the email to. If you'd like your message to go to everyone, then simply go to:
Select an action > Send email
This will then pop up with the email message you can send, either select a template or select Blank email in there!
All done!
Bear in mind that if you are sending emails from the advanced search page, especially if you have 1,000s of crew in your event, the system will queue those messages and send them out over a period of time.
So, if you are in that list and you don't receive the email immediately, don't panic!
Bulk Email
You can also send emails to a whole Area by using Bulk Email.
In your Area, go to Select an action > Bulk email.
This will show a pop up box with various options.
If 'Child Sections' is selected then the email will send to everyone within each Sub area or Group, inside the Area as well.
Select who to send it to, or leave everything ticked to send it to everyone.
Then select your template and hit Next.
Enter your email content and then hit Send, all done!
Emails from Bulk email will queue as well, so you will see them appearing in the email log once they have been sent out.
